McDonalds contemplates leaving the UK

Yup they're thinking about it cause the taxs are to high.. Look what you've done !!!! Now what are ya gonna do if they leave and you get the munchies at midnight ?????

Go to the garage. Can't say I have ever gone to McDonalds at midnight.

 

I hope they close. Not to offend any weird taste buds out there. McDonalds is a horrible company that needs some shutting down. The U.K. actually i think is where they got sued the hardest if i am correct. Punish the evil corp. giant i say!

But the whole thing got so tragic Mcdonalds offered them help with their paper work.

 

I remember watching a documentary about it. Though it has been some time. If so, that is tragic to have the very company you critique, put help in your representation. Either way, the food is very unhealthy. As i would never take my daughter there unless put in a very unreasonable situation.***where have they been hit the hardest $$ wise?***

 

McDonalds closes at midnight in our little town you silly billy! So I'd either order a pizza or go to 24hr Tescos...a nice little British supermarket!

The last time I went to Maccy's, all I wanted was a milkshake....they had no milkshake so I ordered a coke, they didn't even put ice in it.....they were shit. Down with the Mac!

 

*Waves a Big-mac and a bag of greasy fries under your nose* Say goodbye. Just think if McDonalds leaves, what will happen to society in general ??

You might hate me for this odon, but I don't usually like most british people I meet. I don't know why. The accent is cool. They seem cool. Its just everytime I try to talk to one it end up being about how their country it so much better politically when everyone knows thats a boring convo and it starts fights.

P.S. Most the brits I met were in S. Korea... I haven't met to many.

I know there are a few decent Brits here...But, all the cooler Brits don't hang around the UK forum that much.

I know McJunkies just moved their European corporate headquarters out of England.--I did not know they were considering leaving all together.--If I lived in the UK,I'd be glad to see McJunkies go.They are a horrendous outfit,as are similiar places like them.--Maybe the US should raise taxes on these types of places and they can leave too.lol--Let them go to China or somewhere.--

I think if it was true, that one would have made it to the top of the news agenda...rather than page 4 of the FT.

 

wow I would be very suprised if this happens. I thought they were all franchaised owned, therefore individually owned/managed, not sure if that would make a difference ?

 

Only the HQ is leaving- boo hoo. I wish it was some of their branches closing instead. Their HQ is near a nice area in London, so that will raise house prices around there I expect.
