my cousin and "best friend" of literally my entire life recently decided to start being a prick to me...like unnaturally. it rubbed off onto our other friend we hang out with and at the beginning of the summer i had had enough of his shit attitude towards me and others and told him what was up. i stopped hanging with them for various reasons and have since been in my house for a long ass time, really not having much to do because i hadn't made too many other friends beyond my small circle. i understand how "lame" and "boring" being by yourself can be. but maybe in your case a little reflection is good and time alone will bring awareness to what is really important in life.

ok, let's set out the options, all of which suck. the advice i was looking for was which is the lesser of the evils.

1. go along with them, keep coming back here and deal with their shit for 3 more years.

2. go along with them, move out and pay for college after this summer.

3. say i'm going along with them, keep doing what i want anyway and risk getting kicked out.

4. try to move out, fuck my boss over and find a new job near my college while i live with my friend and also have to fund my own living expenses

5. try to move out, attempt to keep my current job somehow
