I am a teacher and you have way too many typos for me to read a long piece of writing from you. It physically hurts my brain. You're cracking me up, SE. Ignore only works for you. everyone else can see Pat's responses. Plus, you aren't even ignoring. Don't let him get to you. All people deserve compassion, especially the ones who push your buttons.

I always thought the ignore function was pretty stupid.
It can throws off a whole discussion when you and the person you are ignoring posts- and you didn't read their post.Besides the fact that you can still see the post itself(just not read it).. AND still see it when it's quoted.

It just seems like a lot of effort to actively "ignore" someone but be not actually able to fully truly ignore them- If you want to ignore the person it seems it would be best to not take what they are saying to heart and let it roll past.

not trying to be a jerk here but if you're going to dish insults at people constantly expect to get a few in return.

 

Brother, I dig where you're coming from, but your attitude doesn't help the cause. If anything, it detracts from it. Love is a beautiful thing, but you can't force others to love exactly the way you do. I respect your experiences, and your ideals, but you've got to give up trying to act like you have it all figured out, and everyone else should do what you do. Different Strokes my man. Peace be your journey, but some people aren't here for peace. That's their business, their struggle. You should respect that, as you want them to respect you. Enough said.

 

I used the ignore function to hide pat's posts once. Only because I leave the forum up pretty much all day and come read when I get a few minutes here, few minutes there. He had a siggy that was not appropriate if my children saw it. I was happy when I found out he had changed it to his bloody face. lol

And as stated above, when you ignore someone, you see they have made a post just not what is posted. So SE would see that Pat was posting.

jim i wasnt forcing anythig on anhyone but they dont have the experiences ive had and when they call me a liar saying that i dont know crackheads and never did the things i did ..well you see why i respond
hell, my cat freedom i rescued from 1 of the crackheads, a sister who helped out at the garden and literaly ate everything she ate for 7 years out of the garden, she was given a pupy the year before and starved it to death, candyman found the dead dog still tied up on her porch, and it was still there dead a month later..my cat on thanksgiving the kids heard her meowing from in an abandoned buildong and we found here there smaller then my hand shed been locxked in for 4 days with no food or water..so i know the selfishness of crackheads shed by crack before food no matter what..but she would protect anyone involved in lots of love with her life..because her life really depended on it
