it's a dog's nature to pick fights with wild animals and get its ass kicked. my parents' dog gets humiliated by the wildlife about once a month. they're tough animals, and they can take it.

really, what point are you even trying to make here?

Pretty sure the fact that we consciously create situations that allow us to basically harvest pleasure makes us more intelligent.

animals use inanimate objects for their own pleasure. they play with one another. one must instigate a bout of frolicking for it to take place. so i would say they have the ability to create situations that bring them pleasure..

 

yeh... animals are completely on our level and totally capable of something like this...
