What is the awareness of a rock?

It is known that plants react to music.Rocks as far as I can tell,do not.They don't seem to evolve much.

And how do you know for sure that there is something? I don't know for sure there is nothing but it's what i think. And Mr. Writer, i don't know why that is a stupid answer its just my opinion on the subject.

the world is made out of awareness. consciousness is the material from which the cosmos are made, so everything is made of awareness. it must have some type of awareness.

i read a trip report where someone ate a ounce of mushrooms and smoked 3 grams of hash. he lived as a rock for a million years, he was aware as a rock, but what kind of awareness he had was unclear.

Alan watts says that rocks have the potentiality to become self aware beings one day. that a rock is just on an earlier stage of evolution then us. is that to say the rocks awareness energy would one day be transferred to that of an animals, or will the rock just one day create life on it and know its awareness from that life? sort of like the earth?

Another thing Alan Watts said is that the eye of god is watching you everywhere, of course because everything is made out of awareness. My question then is basically does the eye actually see, or does it only feel it own presence?

A dpt trip report i just read it exclaimed, "How am i seeing this beautiful imagery, with what eye am i perceiving this?" I have heard of direct perception, how it works is someone of a mystery.

 

For i have seen this something with my own 3rd eye! It is not a question anymore. At the fundamental level of self there is energy, and energy can never be destroyed.

third eye? wtf is that? when i took dpt and saw the universe being created, i was still in a bed in an apartment in toronto, hallucinating on a psychoactive substance. do you want to see the entire universe spin and fall down? drink a few beers.

Close your eyes and look, now you are looking with your third eye, your seeing with some kind of mechanism other than your eyes, it is symbolism.

There is all that talk about the pineal gland being third eye though. Didn't you have a meditation technique where you raised energy through the chakras? Did you skip the third eye chakra?

Alan Watts is a very wise man, very much of what he says have helped me interpret and clarify my own experiences, and could help you as well if your listened.

Let me make this clear, i put no guru before my own self. Ones own wisdom is always put first. That does not mean i don't take there points and put them in to consideration. These men have walked a far greater distance then i have, they have seen many things, they may know far more then ones self, or far less, the idea is to take all ideas and put them to the test.

I am sure as shit that there is something beyond the physical world, that when we die we continue on, directly perceived sure as shit, if you got a whole army of people to tell me i was delusional, i would tell you with sanity intact that you were the one who were delusional, and that we are eternal, nothing truly dies, it is only transformed.

 

He isn't saying the third eye exists or that it does not exist.
He is just saying that you should leave all the terminology and famous names and chakras at the door, and come to understand all of this on your own terms. Hell, make up your own words. Start your own energetic system. Realize all of this in your own way. When we rely on structures in order to help us accommodate the truth, we often end up confusing the structure for the truth.
