I told her I was having violent changes in mood from ridiculously happy to suicidally depressed everyday and that I had been contemplating suicide last night and that these erratic mood changes wer effecting me so badly I couldnt eat or sleep or function at work. She didnt seem to care about any of that seeing as my depression wasnt so bad as to leave me bed bound. All she did was up the lexapro I'm on to 15mg. Oh and she refused to do anything else until I had seen a shrink. I told her I really did not want to go and did not feel comfortable with that. But she told me that was all she could do for me. And I have to wait two weeks for the lexapro to kick in and to see the shrink. Its so infuriating!!!! I have to struggle on for another two weeks wen I feel like I cant handle another second! So basically... "I think I'm going to kill myself! Really? Come back in two weeks and we'll see how you are then." Thats not right.... And she's the best doctor in my area!!!
Go to a homeopathic doctor. They will be able to help get you off the prescriptions poison and use natural ways to balance you in to a more harmonious person. You may need to start with your diet and pay attention to what you eat. Go organic for starters. Visit a juice bar and try a variety of thier drinks. A REAL juice bar that uses fresh organic fruits and veggies. Perhaps a cleanse would be a good idea. But first go see a homeopathic doctor. Always do your own research even after being diagnosed. Take control of your health by knowing what is going on. Oh yeah, Fuck the pharmaceutical industry and the evil empire it supports. They want you to die slowly to milk you for more $$$. Thier medications create more problems than they EVER solve. Think prevention of a problem rather than diagnostics after the fact.
Word. Stop the meds if its not too late. And why are you willing to try to get a physical doctor to treat your psychological problems but not somebody who is actually trained to deal with that sort of thing? All a doctor can do is throw pills at you and maybe recommend changing diet and increasing exercise. Really they shouldn't be allowed to give out antidepressants at all. They are not trained to know the difference between what I'll tall "natural" depression and clinical depression (actually I don't believe there is such a thing as clinical depression, or that if there is it's extremely rare.) All they can do is give you a prescription for some pills that they know basically nothing about and mistakenly believe are mostly harmless. Stay away from the psychiatrist too. He's a fraud. He makes his living handing out potentially dangerous and very unnecessary (and for that matter ineffective) drugs. Talk to a psychologist. The psychiatrist and the doctor will try to hide your problems behind a drug haze. The psychologist will actually try to help you solve your problems.
.....oh and when you get off the drugs practice meditation. Do some shrooms and smoke some DMT. You will be surprised at the effects it will have upon the rest of your life experiences. Very positive.
