IV Morphine Dose?

hey guys,
i recently got my oxycontin switched to morphine and i want to IV some.
i just don't know how much i should do.
i can do 600-700mg of oxy and get an ok buzz.

so what do you guys think a good starting dose would be for me with my tolerance?

i have a monster tolerance.
im prescribed my meds and i've been on em for about 8 months now so thats why its so high.

so wait 600-700 at once? snorted or swallowed? how many times in one day? i'm just confused... that's like, an inhuman amount of oxycodone.

yeah 600-700mg at once.
last time i took it to get a buzz i parachuted 350mg then railed another 320mg and just barely felt a buzz.
that was when i was on oxy.

now i've been switched to morphine and im looking to IV so i can feel that opie high again.

 

are you saying you parachuted 4 oc 80's at ones then snorted 4 more and felt nothing? should have been enough to kill you.

 

well they weren't 80's, they were 20's and 10's, but they still added up to that amount.
and maybe that amount would be enough to kill you, but its fine for anybody with a tolerance as high as mine.

never personally tried, but i've heard half a grain is enough to get a junky high
so thats like 32mg

 

I would try 100mg to 150mg, Bluez. I had an Oxycontin tolerance almost as high as yours at one point a couple of years ago and I always got off alright on 150mg to 200mg of Morphine. I am pretty sure that I was shooting the Acadian brand, they are in capsule form and contain tiny beads inside the capsule that have to be crushed very finely. There might be other ways to cook them up but that is what I always had to do with those capsules. What kind of Morphine are you prescribed? And how many milligrams are the pills? Good luck, man. Get ready for the infamous "pins and needles" feeling, YIKES! Just saying those words makes me wish I was not on MMT so I could have a reunion with the good ole' spike. REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD...

i don't have the capsules. i have 60mg pills that have an orange coating, and 30mg pills that have a purple coating.
i know some people that don't like that pins and needles rush but im lookin forward to it.
i havn't had a good opie high in a while.

I am very skeptical when I see people posting that they have a ridiculous tolerance. I had a 400mg a day tolerance at one point and since I know how hard that kind of a tolerance is to maintain, I always question people when they claim to have a 600mg tolerance. Bluez has been on this site for a while and knowing his pain condition I have never once doubted what he says. Just because someone cannot handle 30mg does not mean that another person, a chronic pain patient, could not handle 800mg in one sitting. Later, d00d.

^ Thats probably because when you're at the hospital and on pain meds (for legitimate reasons), they aren't giving you a big dose you can get high off, just the minimum sufficient amount that will take care of your pain....

And a 600mg+ OC tolerance is insanse!

I really can't offer any relevant advice (that much OC would likely kill me), other than BE CAREFUL man! Especially with a tolerance as high as yours... don't try to take too much morphine right off the bat.

Be careful with that shit. Is your morph already a liquid??? had it several times in the hospital, dont reccomend you shoot it at all if not liquid. PDR has LC50 rates for opiates (lethal concentration to kill 50% at specific dose)

I had that button thing, and even if i pushed it all day, i only used half of what was put in the dispenser. Everyone says oxy is same as morphin but its not true. Morph is much more potent and goes to the receptors easily. Oxy is like trying to make a round molecule fit a square receptor. Oxy also has buffers in it to make it work better / less itch and nausea. and putting all that shit in a vein...no way for me. Rails seem safer but please do not shoot morph if it is not liquid and then be sparing!

Dunno what gives u so much pain for a prescription of it cuz usually you have to be inpatient and they give it to you under close medical supervision. Is it truly morph, or a formulary with that in it? giving out morph is like giving a monkey a gun, just pretty dangerous!

 

^^^Oxy is like 1.5-2x more potent than morphine though.

 

yeah like the dude above me stated, oxy is x2 as potent as morphine mg for mg.
i was on 150mg oxy a day and now that im switched to morphine, im taking 300mg a day.
and there in pill form. bother ER's and IR's.
and i do have legit pain. im basically a cripple without my meds.
hard to even get out of bed without first poppin a few pills.
