Quick question on cough syrup

Ive got a bottle of Tylenol Cold and Flu which has DXM. i want to trip on it, but it also has acetominophen and pseudoephedrine in it as well as DXM. Ive heard you should only take medicines with only DXM, do you think id be alright with this stuff?

 

I wouldn't recommend it myself.

 

I cant imagine this being the right sort of meds you would be looking to trip on. The pseudoephedrine is a decongestant i believe. I also Believe that robotussin would be a better choice. With all of the pain relievers and decongestants in the tylenol brand i don't think that it would make for the trip you'd be looking for. I could be wrong though.

 

Acetaminophen will be hard on your liver- which you might want to save for future alcohol abuse.

 

the pseudo will kill you if you take too much.

 

id stick with generic cough syrups that only have DXM

 

If you have to ask if it's okay to do it, then you shouldn't be doing it.

What a waste of medicine. It could be used for washing off the homeless, or curing a sickness.

 

Actually, cough medicines don't cure anything, only suppresses the cough, which can be bad in some cases, where coughing is necessary to get all the phlegm out from your lungs.
