I'm looking for a new band to listen to that is actually good! No drowned out indie vocals, and drowned out power chord static. something that sounds like joy division, and has awsome riffs. like something good! not like los compesinos or m ward or that stuff. to indie sounding. like something really good. ideas?

Have you ever tried Pandora? It an online radio that works so well and has helped me find loads of new music I never would have thought about listening to otherwise. It's free to sign up and totally worth it. You type in a band you like and it comes up with bands that are similar. You can add more than one band to a station. It's really great, you should try it I also love that it tells you why it played the song that it did and how it has things in common with the band you chose. It's just www.pandora.com
minus the bear is a pretty cool band, i fell in love with them for a couple weeks and havent listened to them since then. still, wouldnt object to it if someone else wanted to throw them on.
