Was reading on wikipedia, compounds can be made in liquid form as 45mg hydro and 20 mg of tylenol.

I ask as I take 80 mg of hydro, a compound 15/200 (3-4) and a few Norco, watching tylenol intake.

Have had, oxycodone, 90mg, does nothing, methadone, nothing, morphine IR 90mg, nothing, 100-300mg Morphine ER, nothing, Diludid, nothing and recently, fentanly patch, works a little better, so am praying doc prescribes liquid compound 45/20 (hardly any tylenol) and patches. Had two 75 patches on yesterday, each put on one day, 75mg one day, 75 the next, made me tired, so it doesn't reallt work as tired means NO work. The others do not work.

Advice on what is wrong with body where oxy, diluadid, patch not working for pain relief where 80mg-90mg hydro does?

On wiki, it says pilss 15/200, which is what I have, then I saw the 45mg for liquid, seems this woulld be what I need, hope doc orders it for me. Live in constant pain, except when on hydro, so pray for me.

Thanks guys. Also, Pharmacy I used to go to never asked questions now they ask and get noisey since they hired a RITE aid type pharmasist, time to fine someone else.

    Appreciate advice.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't they work on different opioid recepters? Oxy is derived from thebaine and I think hydro is not.

Yeah but methadone is completely diff. I don't understand the morphine either but it is a different type of high.

You live in California, get your 215. Maybe not enough on its own, but THC has been shown to be synergistic with morphine.

What is a 215? Am looking into opium plants.

Anyway not trying to get high just that the HYDRO works only. One pharmacy said they can make a 80mg liquid form will see, pleased with doc today, I need life back, fentanly patches work a little but make me to sleepy and so I can focus or work and I see double sometimes on it.

    Advice?

    Thanks

What would happen if I took a whole bunch if methadone, doesnt that block opium receptiors. If I were in theory to grow opium, what seeds would I get and would I make tea, smkeo ir eat it? Just tired of all this. Losing bone density too.

    Thanks

Have you considered suboxone for pain management? It's not typical, but I know ppl that have unusual or high tolerances that have taken suboxone and it works for pain management. It is drasticaly different chemically. Check with a pain specialist about it. It's primarily used to help people breaks opiate addictions but the way it works on receptors have proven to be effective for pain management. Wjhen I was heavy into opiates it was the only thing that worked for legitamate pain management.

its legal weed, dawg. Prop 215 is the medical marijuana bill, and you can grow 8 plants for your own medical use.

Well I used it as a teen, then got paranoid when I did it later in life. Some say there are some designed for pain, not sure how much I buy into that.

Also, what's up with prices? Pot used to be $40 an oz, and COKE $100 a gram, now it's the other way around. How much would weed cost to buy from these places. Stopped by one yesterday and they said unless I was a member, they couldn't quote me a price nor could I go in "the back".

So, here is what I can tell you now...
I have a Fentanyl patch 75mcg, every two days or so, oxy, even at 90mg does nothing for me, hydro at 80-90mg does, no more eurphoria though, but for me it's always been about the pain.

Question, with one doc wanting me on Methadone 2-3 tabs when needed, from what I have read, Heroin scares the crap out of me, but wondered if I would be better off smoking that for pain, or eating it, would that not work? Ideally, I think opium for me would be nice but impossible to find. Thing is, every so called Heroin person I have seen was always nodded, whereas my pain killers made me more hyper. MorphineER/IR gave me nodding if I took to much.

Trying to switch doctors, went to a new one today, this guy seems to know what he's doing, says he can do this procedure where they put me under then place some medcine in my spine area, if it works, he keeps me on the meds, dwindles me down and maybe puts me in a rehab or a hosipal to come off of it, not sure insurance would pay for it though.

All about the pain for me and the anelgisic patch works decent with some compounds or oxy combined. Tired of this crap so hoping the procedure works. But seriously, if you can't find opium, is methadone harder to come off? I've been wanting to be off for quite some time so the battle will be the mind, body, but it's not like I want to stop for someone else (which I also want to do) as I know, I am the most creative and outgoing when I have just coffee in my blood, regardless of the so called used to be eurphoria from the Compoud Hydro - wish I could get a bottle of that - thing is, not working money is tight everywhere. Need lots of prayers.

    Let me know.

Methadone use will bock out all other opiates while taking it and YES it is harder to come off of than any other opiate because the duration is so much longer. I was on methadone for quite some time due to the fact everytime I tried to quit I couldn't take it and I've WD from many diff opiates. I went to jail for 2 weeks (I was sick the whole 2 weeks except for the first couple days) and that forced me to quit otherwise I would still be stuck on it....Now I stick to anything else. Don't mess with methadone unless u plan on being on it for a very long time.

    Composer,

What you seem to be saying is that you've tried most opiates and had no relief from your pain, EXCEPT with Hydrocodone in large doses and Fentanyl Patches, but the patches make you too tired to work, so are not a good option in and of themselves.

Also, you spoke of a procedure your doc can possibly do. I didn't quite understand what you meant by that procedure, and I also didn't understand what the goal of it was. You said they'd put you under and put medicine in your spine...then what, they wake you up and it lasts for a long time? They see which medicines work in your system? They detox you from the hydro while under general anesthesia? Either way, this seems extreme when you haven't tried all the opiates that are out there.

Here's what I can see from your story: you have at least one opiate that works for you. So using it is probably the best bet. The only problem is that you can't get the doses you need cause of the tylenol involved in most preparations. So my reccomendation includes two things: try the other opiates you havent tried yet, and try cold water extraction on your hydros to get maximum relief for the lowest dose of acetaminophen.

Opiates you haven't tried yet according to your story: meperidine aka Demerol (not a good choice for long term pain management as one of its metabolites is toxic and can build up in your system and cause serious problems) for short term, breakthrough pain, pentazocine aka Talwin or Talwin NX (the NX version comes combined with naloxone, an opiate antagonist), dihydrocodeine , again, not great for long term pain management, but dude, at this point for you, you need to figure out which type of opiate works for you and since the traditional ones don't, you need to try all your options. Another option is heroin. Yeah, its illegal in the US and cannot be prescribed. But it is a possible prescription in other countries like the UK and other places in europe. So it is a valid drug for management of pain. If you can find a reliable source for heroin that is relatively pure, it could be a legitimate replacement for conventional drugs. If you need pain relief, the law is immaterial. If you did get caught, you could explain your story and they'd be sympathetic, at most putting you in a treatment program. Finally, you did not list Oxymorphone aka Opana which is very potent and is synthesized differently than many opiates you've tried. So maybe it would help.

Another person suggested suboxone. I doubt that anything with the antagonist Naloxone will help you (which suboxone contains), but its main component, buprenorphine could help you, as it is a less conventional opiate. Another option is Tramadol which comes in IR and ER formats, but is very weak and I doubt would be enough to help your pain, but might be a valuable addition to another opiate for you.

There are several other types of opiates out there which are very uncommon and not available in the USA but are available in the EU, and sometimes in Canada. If nothing else works you might ask your doctor about obtaining one of those drugs, since I believe that doctors, if they can provide documentation for why they need to administer it, can get ahold of some of these other opiates for patients whose pain will not respond to more conventional treatment.

So, to summarize my ridiculously long post:

    1. Whats the deal with that procedure? Tell me what it is for and more details about what they do.

    2. Try other opiates and or Cold Water Extraction with your hydrocodone 15/200 pills.

Another thing I just thought of is that maybe your problem isn't with the drugs, but with your ability to absorb them through your stomach. Hydrocodone has one of the highest possible oral bioavailability (or rate of absorption) of all opiates. Lots of others work only marginally well in pill form. Another thing that leads me to believe this might be your problem is that Fentanyl patches (which use transdermal rather than oral absorption) work for you. So maybe you need to talk to your doctor about other ROAs (routes of administration). Medication through IV is like 100 times more effective for most drugs than PO (oral). For example Dilaudid (hydromorphone) is absorbed through the stomach and GI tract at a 30% rate whereas it is absorbed almost 100% via IV. That is a huge difference. Also, intranasal (snorting) has been studied and could be a viable route of administration for you. Also, although most resist this, rectal administration using suppositories is a valid route, and so is sublingual (or dissolved under the tongue). Talk to your doctor about different ROA's.

Good Luck and I hope you find pain relief. I don't believe in God so I won't pray for you, but I will send as much positive energy your way as I can manage.

I live in chronic pain, and finding a drug that controlled it was a life changing event. I hope you experience that change soon.
