I weighed myself this morning and weighed 130 pounds. That's 59,3kg. I'm 5'9". That's 174-175cm. I feel like I still have a bit of a belly and some love handles. It's ridiculous, I have friends who are my height and weigh several kg more than me and are totally skinny. Where does this imbalance come from?
Different body types = different shapes. Come on, now, you should know this. And I thought you were from Estonia...they don't use the standard measurement system, do they? I'm just totally confused that you gave us standard measurements first, lol. But you should talk to fitzy, he's a fitness guru. Lode seems pretty fit, too. Talk to those guys, they'll buff you right up.
Yeah, I was hoping fitzy or stinkfoot would stumble upon this thread. We have the metric system in Estonia, yeah. I know about the shapes but my weight is that of a skinny person. I mean, it's weird.
You look skinny to me in your pictures. My brother always had a bit of belly fat to him, but was always at a good weight, if not a little underweight, for his height. Abs are a stubborn area.
I can cover it up very successfully with clothes, my grandmother already thinks I'm anorexic. But I don't look good naked.
Well you can't choose how your weight is distributed. Typically for guys it's in the belly and for girls it's in the thighs/bottom. If you don't work out and have an unhealthy diet, fat can develop. Muscle/fat weigh differently, fat is lighter than muscle. If you want to change the way you look you can work out, but you can't change how your body puts on fat.
I have an eating schedule, I jog occasionally and walk quite a lot. Thing is, I weighed about 158 pounds in the fall. I've lost quite a lot but it just doesn't show as much as I wish it would.
Jogging will burn calories, but if that's all you do your body will get used to it. To burn the most fat you have to change up your workout and intensity. Also weights will make a HUGE difference in fat loss, and muscle building. Also you don't need to say you don't want to get huge, because that takes a LOT of effort. Try some interval training, drink a lot of water, and do some weight lifting. You can look up some interval workouts and full body workouts on youtube.
