Ok, so hello everyone, new here! I dreaded the back of my hair, about 2 weeks ago (mullet dread, or whatever it's called), and so far I only rinsed them with clean water. I want to actually clean them, because I used some wax (I know, stupid) and I can't seem to find any shampoo's that are actually "good" for dreads, not on where I live. So I was thinking, is Johnson's Baby shampoo TOO BAD? Thanks in advance.
I'd visit the "read this first" post in the forum for some ideas and suggestions. I have not tried to wash out wax, but I use baking soda and water to wash my dreads.
Nope. I know plenty people who use it. Never tried it myself I prefer Bronner's. OR you could try a clarifying gel like neutrogena but yeah read the stickies
There doesn't seem to be wax in them, they are soft, but I still want to clean them. Thanks for the tips. As for pics, I still have none, so I took these right now, they look weird, but it's just 2 weeks, and the color, hey, my hair is natural dark brown, and I dyed it blue a month ago, and it faded to this blonde/green. Sorry for the quality, webcam pictures.
Ok, this is off topic, but an OOOOLD friend of mine went to one of the recent New Kids on the Block concerts and dug out her old rats tail(her own hair that she had cut) that she saved from like 15 years ago and wore it. EW!!!
Personally i use Non-residue Notargena or how ever you spell it.. It works great, and also spell pretty nice, and you can just pick it up at walgreens or walmart for $5 ...
Hey, I like it, and that's what matters. They endend up fucked up, the guy who did it knew shit, I knew that once I washed them they would loose. I croched one, looks pretty nice, will undo the rest and do it myself.
