1. Vicodin (hydrocodone)- is a mild narcotic used to manage very mild pain. A person without a tolerance would need about 10-15mg of this to get buzzed. 2. Codeine is a very mild opioid and one of the weakest available. It's the only narcotic that is available over the counter in many states. 3. Percocet (oxycodone)- is the strongest of all the ones above. It's for moderate to severe pain. It's available in other preparations such as Percocet, Percodan, OxyContin, Combunox, and generic SR formulas.

Maybe its just me but 7.5mgs of hydrocodone gave me a pretty decent buzz when i first tried it. Even today if I have a 7.5mg hydro, I'll chew it up and smoke a little bit of weed and I'll be good. I'm obviously not getting FUCKED UP on it. But it gives me a nice subtle relaxing buzz.
Ever since I tried Tussionex, vics just haven't been the same. I still like them, but Tussionex is, by far, the best hydrocodone preparation ever; perhaps even the best opiate preparation ever.
Believe it or not, when I started using opiates 5mg of Vicodin got me really fucked up. But I was only 13 so maybe that had something to do with it..miss those days! Then I was introduced to Combunox 5mg (Oxycodone and Ibuprofen) when I was 14...that got me extremely high...
I tried vicodin, it really wasn't worth it. I paid $15(3 pills) for vicodin and i only felt a buzz. I could feel the same level buzz by wating 3 days and smoking a ciggarte and drinkning 1 - 2 beers. That is how i would describe vicodin only thing that is differnt is it lasts longer then a ciggarte and makes the user very tierd though when the user goes to sleep they won't be able to sleep (or atleast i wasn't able to sleep but then agian it was 3PM in the afternoon but it did make me very tierd). I have also tried perocet's, to be honest "they ain't shit", I took took 2 of them (paid $10) and i didn't feel a thing. I dont suggest taking vicodin or perocet. As far as codine, i have never took it.
my advice to the op is to go with your gut. everyone reacts differently to every drug and everyone on this board has varying levels of tolerance. i personally enjoy darvocets but most people here will tell you they're shit. but i moderate my pill usage so i enjoy both weak and strong pills. technically speaking, from weakest to strongest they would be codeine, vicodin, then percocet. however, some people may find a weaker pill gives a better buzz for them than a stronger pill. if you can get these at a reasonable price, id say get a little bit of each and see how they work individually for you. whichever one you like the best, there you go.
I get 90 - 10mg percs and they just won't last long enough for me either. At least I get them once a month though..
