Just curious as to what everyones backgrounds are? dont know if theres been a post about this before or not...


My dads australian and my mums american. my mums family were partly french and dutch. my dads family english and scottish. i am often told i look european, ive been asked if im russian so many times its not funny! once i was even asked if i was Yugoslavian

ummm i'm all american? i'm mainly irish and german, my brother is convinced we're "black irish" b/c lots of us have dark hair and freckles, some have red hair, some have light eyes...

i've been asked a few times if i'm half mexican... hehe... and some of my friends thought my brother was actually mexican when he had his goatee

 

My background is Black, Native American, German (mother) and Polish (father).

 

My mom's Spanish, Mexican & Philipino. Dad's African American.

 

Mom's Polish and Lithuanian
Dad's mostly German, little Irish, and my Grandma claimed that we we are a smidge Native American. Someone married an indian Princess!!!!

 

My dad's Russian, from russian parents and my mom's half Romanian, half Greek.

 

I am 50% Irish, 25% Scottish & 25% Italian.

My dad is Irish and Scottish, and my mom is Irish and Italian.

My Father is Hungarian and Italian and my Mother is Italian and Polish.

i am part scottish, irish, manx, english and italian. my family were sailors and miners so they had to travel where the work was. my great grandmother was italian and i am, apparently, the image of her as was my father - when i was little i had platinum blonde hair (all natural), bright blue eyes and jet black eyebrows. she is where i get my looks from.

 

I'm Italian, Norweigan and German. I have no idea from which side of my birth parents because I am adopted..............

my mothers family is mostly english with a huge history in england, there is some german in there and i just found that out last summer. my moms great grandpa on her mothers side was adopted by his step-dad as a baby so their last name changed to a german name and so i always thought that we had german in us, everyone teased me about being a dukabore, but HA HA HA NOPE!!!!
My biological father doesn't know anything about his dad cuz he died when my dad was really little. but his mother is english and scottish.

so in the long run I am english. it's just easier if people wanna get technical. but really i think Canadian suits better!!

I've noticed that your Italian percentages is lower on this thread the the other of it's kind.

 

My parents are Filipino, but I was born in Italy and feel more Italian than Filipino. But I wish I was Russian, Croatian or Serb
