Age Difference

age of consent in indiana is 16. this is about one are of the law that you want to obey. so definately nothng wrong with the age difference, as long as you are both on the same page. if one of you is in it for a relationship while the other is just looking for fun, then a big age difference is a problem.

 

im not just looking for fun....we are on the same page, its all good. thanks to everyone on their positive comments. besides whoever that mom bitch was she was ridiculous. anyways, its worked well for a long time now so i would say nothing is wrong with it.

 

hippychickmamma is cool, just me an her are from a different time when the law was 18. and the problem i brought up about lookin for fun, is that if the older person is lookin for fun, and the younger person (you) is in love, then the age difference is not entirley healthy.
but im not tryin to criticize you at all, i approve.

 

when i was 20 my girlfriend was 33 and boy did she teach me alot--i was a gigalo for 4 years--she paid for everything and was dealer as well--ahhh good times---now im 47 and my lst 2 girlfriends were 23 and 25 age doesent matter--unless ur a freak child molester--look at my album i dont look my age

 

i understand....she isnt in it just for fun believe me. this is how it all started......one day i looked at the board at work to see where i was working that day and i saw we had a new chick...the first day she saw me she wouldnt leave me alone, and i never knew how old she was. i eventually found out she used to be my neighbor back in the day and she has a hot ass sister in my grade that i knew since kindergarten.

but lets make this short...i ended up giving her my number and getting hers and all that...she always texted me and i found out how old she was and then it freaked me out. i ended up being a dickhead to her for the longest time so she would stay away but it didnt work. one day i just decided fuck it, ill just talk to her. and here we are.


sorry for the shitty story i ended up not wanting to tell all of it, it takes too long.

the age split is cool for guys and older women but bad when it's an older guy and either a younger chick or dude?.....The ugly double stanard rears it's head....Truth is, it is never okay for a adult to involve themselves in a relationship with a child, period....

 

since when am i a child? im 17, nearly an adult. im not saying that i know everything, but i do know that you are a dumbass.

 

Not bad for you, but a little weird on her end.. Why would a woman be hanging around a kid? No offense, but why can't she find a person of her own age. It is different if you were over 18 or even 21 and she was 28. I am 14 years older than my wife, but she is not 20. I would be concerned with the frame of mind of a person who dates a person who is LEGALLY UNDERAGE!!

 

16 is age of consent in indiana. you have no room to talk asshole, your age difference is double what is between us.

 

Okay people, before you post another comment: tothedome1 is from Indiana, where the age of consent is 16. He is 17, which means he is no longer under age. Say what you like about the age difference, but he is not a child.

since when does a number or a law determine when a person is a child or an adult for that matter..

that is a sense of maturity..and state of mind..and since he obviously flips out every time he doesn't hear what he wants, or if someone doesn't agree with him..then obviously he hasn't matured.

^I was simply responding to this post. I don't know the OP so I can't speak for his maturity or lack thereof. However, whether or not he is mature, it IS legal for the 24-year-old to date him. For some reason, she chose him instead of someone closer to her age - and although anyone here can criticize their relationship because they think she's too old for him, none of us here can use the legally underage card since he is already legally an adult. Whether or not he acts like one.

 

I don't think there's anything wrong with that at all. From the time that is was 18 until now (i'm 22) my oldest boyfriend was 34 and the youngest who is now my fiance is 31. Age is nothing but a number. The only thing that really defines us in that aspect is life experiences. "Do it, to it home boy!"

and you have to wonder about the girl's maturity too. as someone else has said - why is a 24 year old girl dickin around with a kid? i know i'd much rather date people around my own age anyways - if i were the older one it'd be annoying ESPECIALLY if they were still in highschool
