As people can tell xanax can cause severe loss of inhibitions and violent behavior in people that are otherwise passive and cooperative. It also typically causes amnesia. Its like alcohol but worst. Combine it with alcohol and you have an even bigger problem. The best thing you can do is hope the person passes out. A good tactic with somebody on xanax is to give them a fast acting neuroleptic to knock them out and tell them its something that they would want to take. I've taken xanax before and I go absolutely psycho on the stuff. I've seen mellow people make serious attempts at stabbing others while on the stuff. Another problem with xanax is you don't realize your messed up and may think your entirely normal. I actually believe that stronger benzodiazepines such as xanax have more potential to cause violent behavior in some people than any other drug, cocaine, speed, alcohol, you name it...
