Sweet! Its nice to see some dreads that are created/maintained in a different way than what we usually see here.

    Bah, twisted ones...

I hate twisted dreads because my aunt has them and every time I visit her she says "LEMME TWIST DEM LOCKS THEY ARE LOOKIN' LIKE DEY BE NEEDIN' SOME TWISTIN'!" she doesn't listen when I say that they're backcombs, not twists...

id stop twisting em..at this point its not helping ya and only harming.. twistin only needs to be done the 1st couple weeks if that.. and overtwisting has led to dread loss in some extreme cases

right now thewy are perfectly formed nice and tight and need absolutely nothing but ocasional seperating

now is when u should sit back and enjoy the best paert of having dreads...needing to do next to nothing at all and always looking good

i know its like a habbit now..but its a habbit u gotta break
concider it like weening your lil babbies
theyre old enough now to fend for themselves
some moms go on breastfeeding till theyre kids are 5..even older ..but its not healthy for anytone.. well neither is twisting dreads that are already dreads

that's just false and stupid :cheers2:

Extended nursing has many health and developmental benefits
    - most kids SELF wean before their 5th birthday, but there are exceptions.
Either way- its not like breastfeeding moms are chasing their kids around saying "please suck my engorged tit"- how do you force such a thing?srsly.
Some interesting info comparison on how long other large mammals nurse
    http://milkstation.blogspot.com/2008/10/extended-breastfeeding.html

    Food for thought anyway.
Doesn't really apply to someone twisting their dreads.at.all.
    Sorry about that

-eta- thinking on this there is sort of a connection but it is the opposite.
Nature runs its course. if left on its own your hair will dread beautifully and healthy..
and kids/babies will wean themselves in their own time.
those things are much easier and more natural when left to do what they will all on their own :)

there full circle and I am done with my lactavist rant

you shouldnt worry about getting em twisted man. or i guess its up to if you want dreads or weird twisted ropes of hair. with your hair texture, if you keep stepping in on the process and forcing some weird shit on them, you're gonna ruin it eventually, just chill and kick back
