That sucks man, I love my pets more than I like most people. Actually I like other people's pets more than I like their owners. Sorry for your loss.
Christy was my sixteen year old Dane. I got her from some people when she was about six. They thought she was violent aggessive. She was just a big shy doofus. She really didn't have a violent bone in her. She was just afraid of everything. She got her name from Phantom of the opera because she had a half mask marking. Actually she was part of two...one a black lab that died a few of years ago...they were the hooligan sisters. They loved to run. And neither one originally belonged to me. The were my boss's. But somehow I ended up with them. I know she's running with Sarah now. The hooligan sisters are at large. Thanks for understanding that I'll miss her.
Aww, the hooligan sisters. They sound like they were a fun handful. *snurfle* (raises a cup of Irish Breakfast in the girls' honor) Take care. love, mom
I truly believe dogs where placed on this earth for only the best of reasons and for which I know it will all be fully explained to me when I reach Dog Heaven some day. I'm so very sorry to hear of the tragedy with your Christy, but keep in mind, you will see her again someday, along with me and my dogs too! I want you to know that you and your dogs, here on earth and in heaven above are in my prayers, always... Namaste
Thank you everyone. We had long time together. 16 is very old for a Dane so I feel lucky. And she went easy, so I know we did the right thing at the right time.
