Good morning everyone, hope you all had a good wake bake because i sure did. Anyway would anyone know if porch monkey is a real racial slur? as in porch monkey from Clerks II

Haha, ya I'm pretty sure that's a racial slur. One of the more funnier ones. (Not that I use racial slurs)
I've only ever heard that a couple of times.

 

i believe it is a series of words that is considered a racial slur, yes. but i just had to put up with gratuitous use of the 'N' words, so im a little sensitive at the moment.

 

I've used/know ever racial slur there is.

It is. And the funniest thing is when I was younger I was just like Randall in Clerks b/c I didn't think it was racist either. I thought it was meant to describe kids who lived in the cities & had to play on porches instead of country kids who could go play in backyards & shit.

Ahh my neighbor has that same statue in his yard. Except it's holding a lantern.

 

i had the same one too.. i was sick of it hanging in my back yard so i hung it in the back

 

porch monkey is a racial slur. it's based off the stereotype that in the ghetto, black folk sit out on their porches and that the color of their skin makes them look like monkeys.
