Does anyone here dig him like I do? I've got everything he's ever written, and every few years I read his entire works in chronological order What's your favourite Clive Barker book? why are you into his writing? I think I've read "Damnation Game" the most
I read all of Clive's work up to and including Thief of Always. I kinda grew away from him after that. I think that Weaveworld was my personal favorite. He had a way of making the surreal seem commonplace, making the common seem unnatural.
weaveworld is a beautiful story......lol, i once had a friend who called it "boreworld" because he didn't think it was as fast paced and brutal as Clive's other work - i beg to differ the great and secret show is another excellent book of his, and one of the most decadent titles he's penned is Cold Heart Canyon.......his books on the Abarat do give a thrill, even though they're shelved under "juvenile fiction" - they're plenty creepy and fantastic, just don't have any tits in em
