The artificial materials in an average modern playboy playmates body, if sent back to the 1940's would have changed history.

The shit technical gadgets that you've thrown away this year would be incomprehensibly complex in the same time period.

a single high powered desktop computer with lets say, one terabyte of useful information would have guaranteed a win to any war two thousand years ago if you had the know how and materials to build what you needed to turn it on :p

isn't it amazing what we take for granted? really.

I am personally amazed at how far & fast everything has advanced in the last century. Nothing had budged for hundreds of years, then BOOM

I wonder how long it would take to "reverse engineer" a computer from 200 years into the future?

The irony about it is that while we've evolved exponentially when it comes to technology, the stuff fabricated before this technological boom will outlast its newer counterpart by many many years...

They tell us to recycle and care for the environment, all while building products meant to last only a couple of years.

So yeah, it's amazing, and quite sad.

Not to mention how primitive we still are in how we treat each other.
