    What is your favorite psychomotor stimulant? Personally of the four listed I seem to prefer good ol' speed (adderall, dextroamphetamine, ect.)......well I do like coke better at times but the duration sucks.

    Vote in the poll and discuss.

    Note: Did not include extacy because it's not a true psychomotor stimulant. This poll is only for classic psychomotor stimulants.

    edit - I've never heard the term 'psychomotor' before; did you make it up or is it some slang american terminology? I'd class those in your list as psychoactive stimulants, which is exactly what they are.

    No dudes and dudets.......caffeine is not included here! The older members who have been on this forum knew what that term meant......strange......psychomotor stimulants refer to the dopanergic stimulants like cocaine and the amphetamines NOT Methylxanthinelike stimulants like caffeine, theophylline, or theobromine. Refer to this chart for more info on the classifications;

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Zachorious#Psychoactive_Drug_Chart

    I guess this highly accurate chart being taken off wikipedia for bogus reasons led to less knowledge of this terminology ;).

    You should've said favorite adrenaminergic stimulant. That's much clearer. Even I don't know exactly what 'psychomotor' means.

    adderall for daily use, but nothing compares to the rush of doing a nice big line of coke.

    As far as recreational stimulants go, I don't like them. When I think of fun drugs, I think of things that make you stoned and zoned out, not drugs that make you jump all over the place. And people always say stimulants give so much euphoria, but I think something like LSD can give you gust as much euphoria, plus a light show. But I am a complete stimulant addict, if you include coffee.

    Adderall is good if I really want to do something all night (like play guitar or write), but overall I try and avoid stimulants as they tend to exacerbate my OCD.

    Coke is great...too great.

    I have never had Cocaine, but Methylphenidate intranasally is very similar. I also have not had Khat-products, but Bupropion is almost identical to Khat's active ingredient.

    My verdict is that dextroamphetamine is the best. Pure cerebral bliss. Long lasting. I'm on it right now, but will be able to sleep without problem.

    I also enjoy intranasal methylphenidate. It produces a euphoria, for only a few minutes, that is unlike that of any other drug I have tried. But it is short-lived and prone to the jitters.
