what is better, to have a cell phone or to have a landline? what are the pros and cons? i'm just wondering cuz i'm getting my own apartment and i'm getting everything in my own name and i would have to put a $200 deposit for a new phone line. i should just get a cell phone with a plan. what do you think?
I'd say get both if you can. The land line won't just drop calls like a cell phone can and that can be bad if you're expecting an important call or are on one already. But then with the cell phone people can reach you all the time, but I'm sure there's someone that everyone knows that they don't want to hear from.
Yeah, forget the land line. They're not worth it. I used to think it was good to have a land line "just in case", but after experiencing a hurricane and seeing that cell service was restored faster than our land line, I've decided that land lines are a waste. Most of my friends now rely solely on their cell phones.
depends i think if your friends all have cell phones and you know the networks they are on..it might be cheaper to get a cell phone . I would get a top up one not a contract one..you can manage how much you spend , with a contract you have a bill/weight around your neck for a year.
I only have a land-line. i hate cell phones. I don't like talking on the phone all that much, and other people with cell phones piss me off....especially when they go blind while talking and driving.
well i don't use the phone a whole lot. i mostly make and receive long distanc calls. i'm thinking i'm gonna just get a fido cell cuz i never really leave the city.
