The Dark Knight was obviously the best one, but Christian Bale gave one of the less impressive performances in the movie.

    Val Kilmer all the way!

'Batman' from 1989 with Michael Keaton was BY FAR the best. It was dark and twisted, the way Batman movies and comics should be. Plus the figures from that movie were the best as well. Jack Nicholson played a phenomenal, disturbing Joker.

Christian Bale is by far the best Batman (though I don't know how much I like Nolan's depiction of Wayne). I can't even fathom how people would disagree, he's the only one who has made Batman seem tortured inside throughout the entirety of the film. Keaton and Kilmer just seemed numb at times.

The best Batman movie: very very very hard to decide, but I'm going to have to go with Batman Returns - The Dark Knight gets honorable mention for it's absolutely amazing pacing and some great techniques. But Batman Returns was pretty much a flawless film, and the characters all had such great chemistry - it has such a unique energy and vision.

The best Batman movie as in best adaptation: Batman Forever - it's the only movie that has fully captured the essence of Batman. The Dark Knight came soooo close - but it just took itself too seriously.

I gotta admit, I didn't think Val Kilmer would get ONE single vote lol. I thought he was fucking horrible. But to each their own.

I HATE HATE christian bale as batman.
    keaton, then kilmer-
Clooney was practically a joke .. mainly it was the nipply suit though, not his own fault.

    No, Clooney is a joke.

    I agree.
I love him too, so it makes me sad.

michael keaton was the best batman, the dark knight was the best batman movie. I'm presuming the people who didn't vote for keaton were too young to see those ones. :p

I know, heath ledger's joker totally wasn't dark and twisted in any way shape or form. His performance reminded me of bambie. :) (using the sarcasm we were talkin about earlier lol)
