=( Simon And Garfunkel sing "Mrs. Robinson" and Jefferson Airplane sing "White Rabbit" and "Somebody to love"
I don't have one, I've never been into bands, but i voted for ABBA, they have a couple of songs I like.
Lots of good bands there... I chose the Dead, Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Jimi Hendrix. All of those have touched me in a deep, meaningful way. Blind Faith too (even though they're not included). I'm sure my parents regretted the day when the bought me (at age 9) a Blind Faith album. That was my true intro. into the sixties, and I've never been the same...
none of these are actually my complete favorite, but I really like a lot of them. I voted for the beatles because I like them the most off the list
I think my abswolute favorite band would have to be either The Who, The Clash, or Bad Brains. Just because with those three bands i love everything that they do.
I voted for 13th floor elevators, but that's only cause they're the best one there. Where the hell is Flower Travellin' Band?
The Who are simply phenomenal. Off-list bands/acts I'd put on my own list of faves: Neil Young, X, Dylan, The Clash, The Jam, The Velvet Underground, etc., not to mention just about everyone that ever recorded for Sun, Stax, Dot, and King. Don't even get me started on jazz (well, ok)...John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Alice Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, Bern Nix, Charlie Christian, Jim Hall, and many, many others. -Dropa Blue
