How long do you think it will be till they legalize Weed is the US? Im predicting 5-10 years. It should be legalized now!
donno bout usa but in the uk i recon bout 2-5 yrs seein as here its only a class c drug (thats the same class that alcohol, caffeine an nicotine is in)
I agree! But IMO Spain will go first, like 2-3 years, I guess... then UK, then... Portugal, i guess...:S lots of socialists are for it here, that's why im sayin it... As for USA... really, probabilly 10-15 years, really..:S if it's not even legal to smoke it in open areas... Here I can be smoking a joint where I really want to, if the police's coming they will only search if I have more cannabis material hidden, but if I don't, they'll just walk away...
Not for a long time or not until the majority of Americans opinions change soon. Smoking herb doesn't comply with the way society in general wants you to live your life.
it depends how long we have republicans running the country... im guessing it will be at least 40 years before it's legalized nationally, if at all. right now im simply hoping for decriminalization at the state level... which has already begun.
I live in Canada so I am betting it will be totally legal here before it is in the US. But that could be a good ro bad thing for it to be legal. The government sucks!!
wtf since when was weed legal in UK?? anywya i think it will definitely happen in our lifetime. who knows when tho. all that needs to be done if to find a solution that makes stoners useful to the economy., and i recon it would be allowed
argh, on one hand to have it to be legal most likely paying hella taxes on herb, maybe decriminalized would be better for me ;/
yes they would have taxes on it but think bout it, it would be sooo easy to get proper A*** weed. sum one hit wonder would b good for me
It will be a long time before weed is legalized. But when it is, I'm just gonna start growing like crazy. (as I'm sure many people will)
it will be a while, but i don't think it will necessarily be as long as people think. on election day a vote to legalize marijuana (legalize the growth, production, sale, and use...not just decriminalize) and regulate it just like alcohol and tobacco was taken in alaska and 48% of the state voted yes. 1% didn't vote so that only lost by 3% of the population. i'm sure if it passed in one state and the country realized the benefits, like all that money from the "war on drugs" that can now be spent on more important things like education or public improvement, other states wouldn't be very far behind.
it wont be legal for at least ten years. and even then, the pharmacutical, timber, paper, textile, energy, and food companies will have to stop paying and lobbying for it to be illegal. I wonder how much money the government makes from all of the "taxes" from these companies compared with how much it would make/save if it was legalized. Id say its at least double, maybe more.
If you havnt noticed yet, in the USA the majority of younger people 25 and below I would say are strong liberal and or democrats. Older people are republicans and conservative. As soon as the older generation dies off or becomes smaller the United States will be a very liberal country it seems like. This is just a guess I guess you could say but in theory, it sounds pretty right. So I would say that maybe 5-15 years. It doesnt matter to me because ill be out of here by then Edit.. Sorry...
