By the way, I posted another recipe on crummy's bar and grill if anyone is interested in creole food.

But anyways I just invented this recipe 2 days ago and it was so good I thought I'd post it somewhere.

    FISHSTICK NOODLES

You will need: elbow noodles (or I suppose any other kind), fishsticks, butter, garlic, turmeric, and bread crumbs. And I guess salt and pepper if you like.

You will do: cook noodles the regular way, you know, boil them in salted water. Then fry the fishsticks in butter, and add some fresh garlic to the butter - mashed, preferably. Yes, if you have high cholesterol, I would not recommend this recipe because it's better with lots of butter - but, isn't garlic good for your heart? think of it this way. When the fish is done, we want golden not black so make sure to "watch" it, and I am advising microwaving it a little before frying it, so the inside is cooked - cut it in little cubes about half an inch square.. it does not have to exact.. you leave it in the frying pan! - and then you add the noodles (plan a big pan) you mix.. then you add some turmeric powder.. you mix some more.. then you put all that in an oven dish, and you add some bread crumbs on top, and you put it in the oven for 10 mins or so..

It's delicious, I think, and I hope some of you out there try it!

    Yay

Why don't you use real fish instead of fish sticks?

or real fish that's been breaded then.. the key point is the breading, cause when the fish and breading get mashed and mixed with the noodles and get flavored with turmeric.. it's just delicious!

    I know, it sounds weird.

I suppose you could get some really nice fish and bread it yourself then, I'd have done that if I had nice fish.. but.. you can't avoid the butter frying..
