convincing my friend

i just got a good bit of graduation money (probably around $800 or so, but ive spent maybe $100 or 150 by now) and i really want to get a half ounce of dank (which around here is like $200). im planning on selling an 8th and a gram of it (8th for 60 and a gram for 20), and if i split the half o with my friend i would end up getting the remaining 2.5gs for $20, assuming i'd get a quarter for $100. however, my friend doesnt want to spend that much money ($100). he got like $700 for christmas though, and his birthday is in like 2 days and he probably already got a couple hundred for that too. the kid is fucking loaded and has nothing else to spend his money on. i cant afford to buy the whole $200 but if i just buy a quarter instead of half then it would be like $120 and i wouldnt get much out of that. i think my friend just doesnt want 7 grams of weed, but it comes down to less than 15/g and if he sells some of it then it wouldnt be bad at all. i really want my friend to help me out with this, so how could i convince him that $100 on a quarter ounce would be a good idea/not a waste of money (especially considering he got so much money for christmas and probably even more for his birthday)?

btw: i only decided to do this because my friend texted me saying "im trying to find weed cause i have a lot of birthday money i want to spend". so i gave him this offer and he was like "eh i'll think about it" and all this shit...

This. Some weed is better then no weed, and some money is better then no money.

 

why not just get the half o yourself and just sell it all besides what you want to keep...if you sold an 8th to 3 different people for $60 and a gram for $20 you would end up making all your money back and still have 2.5g. if you got the weed you could also be selling it to the friend that wants weed haha

And stay away from selling... It's not worth getting the reputation as being "the guy who sells" for a few dollars...

well if you think you can sell one of the 8ths if you split it with your friend then you should be able to atleast sell 1 to the friend and sell the other to whoever you were gonna sell to then im sure it cant be that hard to find someone that wants to buy and 8th or even just sell it in grams and make money lol

Well how much are mids in your area? I bet you that you can grab an ounce of mids for under 150$ then you should just sell that.

200 a half ounce is pretty ridiculous, even if it was the best bud you had ever seen.

i could probably sell it in grams at least. hmm i think i will just get the half ounce... if i sell an 8th for 60 and like 2gs for 40 then i would make $100 and still have a quarter to myself, which would last me a loooong time

 

you should do it lol...worst case scenario is you got a better deal on weed, and you dont have to pick up for a while. i can find mids pretty easy but i dont really want to sell lol, i dont know enough people or have the money to buy alot to start with. can usually find headies around 45-60 an 8th so compared to me your prices are fine but we live in the same general area lol

 

mids are hard to find here, like the dealers who sell mids are so unreliable and they'll set something up and then never call back or ignore your calls until you just give up.

 

It is the bare minimum amount imo that you can make a profit on, but it isn't anything significant. I can cop a half for 150$, if I sell it all at 50$ 8ths then I would get a free 8th, or 50$. That is some profit at least, but pretty pointless if you ask me. Might as well just buy the half ounce and and conserve and smoke it over a few weeks time.

 

$200 a half ounce? Good grief, for that price (converted) I can get a QP almost.. not really into buying/selling weight though, 'cid's where I make my profit at, much much easier to carry/conceal, I can have 200+ hits in one little bottle
