Ok so I've seen stuff about sleep paralysis before, and had a basic idea of what its like, ie an unpleasant experience with hallucinations. I have never experienced anything like that. However I was reading a description of it earlier and it sounds allot like something I've been experiencing for years. Sometimes when I plan on staying up really late, I'll take a nap durring the day, when I'm not tired. This is usually when I get the expereinces. So heres what usually happens, I lay down and close my eyes, I have to work to keep my eyes shut usually since I'm not tired, eventually my mind will start to caml down, like I'm about to fall asleep, but I'll start to feel fuzy, and almost like I'm flipping. I'll also hear this noise that's hard to describe, but it kind of sounds electronic, it will start soft and get VERY loud, its sort of like "wwAA wwAA wwAA...". Sometimes I will feel like I'm flipping or floating, other times I'll feel like I'm rising and falling, sort of like i'm on a boat, but to a higher extent. Also durring the experiences I am conscious, but im sort of dazed. And I know I'm lying in my bed. And allot of times it will get REALLY intense and i'll jolt up. I've actually never looked into it because it doesn't happen too often, and I actually enjoy the experiences, which is why I was supprised to read that people with sleep paralysis will hear bursts of noise. I forget what the description said, but it exactly describes the noise I will hear. So what does everyone else think? Is it possible to have sleep paralysis with your eyes closed, and actually enjoy it?
I've had sleep paralysis on numerous occasions. What you're experiencing doesn't sound like it. Usually there will be a presence of another being in the room associated with it, in my experience. You feel intense fear and you are simply unable to move, though you fight your way through it. I've been known to attempt screaming in these situations, but all that comes out is mumbles. But yeah, it is possible to enjoy it. I, for one, do.

This is all extremely arbitrary and vague and on such a personal level it's hard to say. I think the answer probably very well could be yes, but then there is always the possibility to tinnitus.
That used to happen to me all the time, particularly when I was very young. It was very uncomfortable.
I have sleep paralysis fairly often. I hallucinate demons usually. Now this OM business I think I might have heard this last February. I was waking up from sleep paralysis when all of a sudden everything went blank. I could see an orange light in the center of a very pure white background with a light monotonous humming beep sound. sorta like when your ears ring but not quite. I actually never made the connection with OM til now but always assumed i was on the verge of death. it only happened for a split second but I can remember it well.
