I'm looking for a new school to attend next year and who better to ask than the stoners, right? I'm a business management major and I'm looking for a nice school with a lot of cool people and a really cool atmosphere. List any nice campus you know of and how the people and parties are. I live on the west coast, kinda looking at cali if I can find afford to live there. I saw Minnesota in another thread and that place looks amazing. If you can give me any info on studying abroad that would be great too.
if you come to minnesota be ready for cold and snow longer and colder than you can imagine hahaha, i love it though going on 21 years here. Come to St. Cloud we have a great business program apparantly
fuck minnesota University of Texas is a very big business school and it is a pretty big party school - and Austin is seriously one of the coolest places I've been to or MU - i do it up big in COMO
My friend goes to Occidental in LA and they smoked him out in a dorm room during his tour. He says there's not a lot of parties, but many acid / mdma fueled raved which sounds better to me.
TEMPLE!!!!!!! haha im going there in the fall. they have a good business school too i think, if you're willing to check out the east coast...
i went to pitt's business school for 3 semesters. great profs, great resources, excellent school and master's program. awesome campus, diverse student body, hip community, lots of things to do.. museums, parks, free public transportation, etc.. i recommend it.
ST Cloud MN has a rep for being a good party school---but if you cann afford Davis or Berkley try there--the coolest people in the world
I only have 2 other friends who plan on going to college. Frankly I don't care about partying at school. I want to do good so I can get a sick job. I was blessed with a brain that can do math and other complicated school things, so I'm not fuckin' wasting it by getting drunk at school parties. I plan on hangin' out with the same friends as I do today, but we'll get drunker and even higher. Fuck school parties.
I have a buddy who goes to Montana State in Bozeman, MT. He absolutely loves it up there, says it's filled with chill people, plenty of parties, etc. You should check it out it looks nice.
I get drunk at school parties and still do good in school lol.I always leave will new friends and connections.Sometimes you just gotta let loose and have fun, otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy.
I don't think he'll still be saying fuck school parties when he's actually in college. prove me wrong I don't really party that much either, or drink a whole lot..although that will probably change soon because my future suitemates are all alcoholics.
hm, maybe for some i just have fond memories of waking up early in Austin, going to a local roaster and getting some good ass coffee...the heat was pretty bearable once you got into it and acclimated and CC, I'd like to see you try to not go to any parties at college haha - i've been to some pretty "lame" college parties that beat the hell out of the parties in highschool, for sure
how are your grades? before i moved i went to uc humboldt and it was really mellow. i study environmental science though and dont know about their business school.
I went to University of Tennessee. They have a really good Business program. The cost of living there is cheap as fuck. One year I lived in a three year old furnished 4 Bed/2 Bath apt that was over 1000 sq ft & only was $335 a month (per person) for rent. There are also plenty of houses right off campus that you can get cheap w/ some buddies. And the weed was always fantastic & all you gotta do is ask around in your dorm & you'll find it in a second. Most of the people are chill & quite nice. However if you're not into college football you will absolutely be by yourself each Saturday in the fall as every single student will either be at the game or watching somewhere. And nearby are the Smokey Mountains which are gorgeous to hike & Gatilnburg which is always good for a weekend trip.
