What new music have you been getting into? I haven't had the time to get into anything since winter.. any recommendations in indie/alternative and experimental/post-rock for me?
Can't think of new good music I recently found out about, but I've gotten into Dead Man for awhile already. It's a band that leans sometimes more towards the psychedelic rock genre and sometimes sounds more like folk rock, just give them a listen: http://www.myspace.com/deadmansweden Hope you like them as well! From their myspace I like the songs Going over the hill and Highway the most, although these are probably the least experimental . They're just catchy and grooving

have u heard mum ? (i think its pronounced moom...) they are definitely indie/post rock/electronic/downtempo kind of thom yorke/downtempo radiohead style.....but i think you would really like them....very east to listen to..one of my girl friends who loves indie/post rock stuff (animal collective, deerhoof, cloud cult, etc) LOVEs mum....and if you enjoy that, you might also try some Nalepa and that may really open some doors to a whole new scene/genre...
