So I met up wit coworkers from Dallas at my trip to Iowa last week. Got there number hung out with them at a bar. Went to another bar, and 15 feet from the parking lot, get pulled over. In Dallas if you have no insurance they tow your car. So I get two tickets, the headlight being out, and the insurance one. So we walk to the bar, I get really smashed to mourn my car, and we crash at my homegirl dallas coworkers place. I find out over the course of the evening shes a lesbian and is going to a pride march today. So wake up and go with her, march in like 104 degree weather, and I'm wearing this pink cowboy hat of homegirls. We find out in Fort Worth there was a gay bar that was raided by police the night before. So theres calls for this impromptu march in Fort Worth. So I can catch an easy ride home. So we march from the city hall to the courthouse and then back. I somehow end up yelling the loudest at front leading the march. I got a couple cameras on me, I'm on the news here I'm sure. I got interviewed for a pod cast. Got home an hour ago. Down a car, and up two pride marches. A rich full weekend.
Way to turn a negative into a positive. Could've been a worse weekend all things considered.
This sort of lifestyle? I'm straight if that's what your asking. Wasn't out of character for me. I hadn't really planned to be in a pride march when I left Saturday night.
But he was with a lesbian the whole time.... Glad you have fun Lode, Houston had a pretty big parade aswell didn't go though too hot.
I kinda feel like it'll never rain again. Muggy hellish burn. When your actually out working in it though, it feels like heat can't touch you anymore, and feels a bit cleansing. It's probably all in your head because you're delirious.
