Yeah, you've disclosed some of the crap that comes out of your mom's mouth and it's grotesque. You're definitely the shining light in her life and it's too bad she can't stand that enough to appreciate it.

You should be really proud of yourself - not too many people stand on their own feet and have the kind of self esteem that you've built up.

 

edit: okay my parents are kinda having this little party now.. my dad cooked this awesome chicken spaghetti with sausages from my uncle in louisiana.. its kinda soup-y with lots of tomato and its kinda sweet.. very new-orleans style so good! mmm garlic bread.. and margaritas we're all going swimming! woo!
