I have been to the doctors a few times to get my ears cleaned and that is what they used..peroxide and water..you can even gargle with peroxide for mouth sores..
I've done this, it kinda helped. well it wasn't blasted... have I missed a crucial step? Lode- there isn't any wax left because I have little wax to begin with and the peroxide took care of that, but the wax I did get out was *gasp* yellow!
You've prob tried this already, but sudafed works wonders for me (the real stuff you have to fork over your ID for). i take a double dose and follow with a single dose for a few days. If this doesn;t work, do you have medical insurance?
yeah, you need someone to do it for you..using a large type turkey baster syringe apperatus to shoot the liquid in your ears to be sure to dislodge any remaining ear wax
Z: "there's something wrong with my ears" MD: "You'll need an appointment" Z: "What kind of ointment and do you think it'll work?" MD: "No- an appointment! I'll make one for Thursday" Z: "Yeah, me too, Some water would be really nice about now" MD: "What I'm saying is that I want to schedule you for an appointment on Thursday so I can examine you." Z: "What?"
bella - yes I have medical insurance though I'm pretty sure it's really only good if I break a bone or have pneumonia or something. gotta look into that. and I agree, I think it is mucus, not wax GeeOhhn - I don't think it's wax, but thanks for the suggestions bonkai - yes, my ears are constantly ringing azucena- yawning makes my ears pop but does nothing to clear them up. ink2deep- just ear candled about 10 minutes ago. no change yet.
I suspect they'll clear up on their own once proper drainage has occurred. I've had plugged ears myself- usually at the tail end of bad colds. I do hope it doesn't turn into an ear infection. Good luck.
