I was more upset that Farrah Fawcett died. And how sad is it it that she was the news headliner for all of 6 hours until MJ died. I would mourn a Charlie's Angel more then Billy Jean's lover....

Hey, he was never found to be guilty. Let's not make huge leaps. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't... who cares it's done now. He's dead. There are millions of sad people and he has a lot of close family who will be terribly upset. His huge global fame didn't detract from the simple fact that he was nothing more than a human being like you or I.

As I said, I think his music sucked, but let's leave the poor dude alone. He was not a happy chappy.

Most of Michael Jackson's fans must be elsewhere today, in mourning. I'd have expected more posts. Can't deny he was loved by many. Anyone dying at 50 is leaving this earth far too soon.

i dont really like the fact that Farrah was totally forgotten and everyone focuses on MJ, especially since Farrah was battling cancer, something she couldn't help, and MJ died of own reliance of prescription pills...WTF?

Yeah, in college dorms 30 years ago.
It is sad that she died of cancer...but it doesn't make her any more a talking point, imo.
Now, MJ, good grief, people will be talking about him for the next 100 years.
The last question will be: Yeah, but he liked to fondle little boys, didn't he?

Well we know he dangled his kid off a balcony.
You can ask him that if you like though.

"Man in the mirror" is currently No. 2 in the UK charts.
This is after only a few days.
I think MJs albums will fly off the shelfs and his estate will make more money than the Elvis estate. His kids will have nothing to worry about.

That's what I thought at first, but everyone knew that she was going to die soon because of her cancer... no one had a reason to think MJ would die. It came out of nowhere, really.

I just can't wait until Hot Topic starts selling Michael Jackson shirts and every other brainwashed teen is wearing one, talking about how much of a shame it is that he's gone even though they never paid him attention while he was alive.

He was an amazingly talented artist, one of the greats though I'm not a big fan.

He had a sad life, but I suspect he may have screwed up some children's lives as well; I'm not convinced by the American justice system (c.f. the OJ Simpson trial).

I do agree the mass media is a monster. They have absolutely no morality or principles,
and they make Judas look like a saint.
