On friday at three I'm going in to have the tattoo in my finger removed. I've wanted to get rid of it since I got it more or less, which was when I was 17. It's home done and a poor choice. It's costing me $162.75, which includes numbing, which was reccommended by the guy who's doing it considering having a lazer beating up your index finger is going to hurt. I'll post pictures of the process as it goes along
Yeah, on your hand, its worth the money. The good news is that it should get lasered more easily than a professionally done one because it has less/lower quality ink. Anyway, I'd say that 162 is a bargain. Regrettable hand tattoos can costy you 1000's in lost job opportunities etc. And thats not counting the fact that it just bothers you.\
It's only more bothersom because I wear this HUGE ring over it because I find it so ugly, and with my wedding coming up so quick I want to have it removed for photos. The guy who's removing think that the ink is in such bad condition that I will probably be able to get rid of it in one go, even if it's only 80% done I'd be ok with that. Thanks for the support
haha yeah. thats a remover.. i heard getting it removed hurts more then actually getting the tattoo (except you have numbing) It looks really faded anyway it shouldnt be hard to remove. Maby thats why its so cheap?
fuck lazers, if i ever need a tattoo removed i'm just gonna get some sandpaper and do it myself. and if it really hurts then i'll maybe take an ibuprofen.
^ I've actually tried alot of home remedies to get rid of it, from my experience the only way to get rid of it is laser, or completely cutting out that skin. It's cheap because he gets alot of volume, he doesn't need to charge alot. His practice has won countless awards. And yes, it's going to be VERY painful.
black ink takes better than any color with laser, just like hair removal with laser, dark hair in more likely a success.. chances are you will not even know it was there in a few months. It will look like sunburn for a little bit.
you obviously don't have much competence, or you haven't tried hard enough. and clearly you don't have high pain tolerance. sandpaper method is painful but quick. x-acto method is slow, but very exact and thorough. both are painful, but so are tattoos and you can handle those just fine(maybe.) i would guess that knife method is slower or the same speed as lazer. i just kinda think you're a wuss. getting a home tattoo, but not willing to get rid of it at home? obv can't handle your shit. sandpaper($3.15), pain level 3 vs x-acto knife($10.00), pain level 6 vs lazer($150+), pain level 5 you're not being very thrifty for such a small tattoo. in fact you could get a whole new tattoo and a piercing for that much.
maby im missing something but wouldnt an xacto be less painful since theyre super sharp? also, idk anything about lazers but dont they NOT leave a scar??? another option would be a cover up tattoo...
Damn $160 for that little tattoo, the removal business must be banking. [edit] Actually i have heard of tattoo removal cremes/lotions, maybe you could talk to a dermatologist before getting zapped. I'm assuming a lotion would be a hell of a lot less painful.
Can't handle my shit? Don't be a retard. How easy a tattoo is removed depends entirely upon the DEPTH of the ink. And if you're willing to go threw the pain of sandpaper, or a x-acto, with sub-par results and a nice scar you are a moron. And I don't want another tattoo, so yeah, shut the fuck up because you have NO idea what you're talking about dick. Anyway, for the people who are actually interested in seeing how well this works, I'll post a picture friday afternoon when it's done then over the next week as it heals.
iggy:iggy:iggy: lady privileges? way to promote a double standard... i don't care whats between your legs i'll talk to you like a talk to anyone. and i might add that she doesn't talk like a "lady" as you suggest.
lol oooo, someone is a little sensitive. didn't think anyone would think you're the sucker, did you? as for judging my suggestions... you can't knock it til you try it. i've removed tattoos using sandpaper, it works fine. probably better than a lazer because it doesn't leave a mark if you let the wound heal. you might even find that the lazer has subpar results(and for what $150+), Mrs. Judge lady.
