I have heard several of you talk about how bad public schools are becoming, and I was wondering if there are any websites out there that talk about this subject?

My hubby is still not convinced that homeschooling is what's best for our children, and I would like some evidence on paper to throw at him, proving that public schools are whacked!!

So all of you anti-public schoolers out there, send me some links!!

    Thanks everyone--sweetpeace

I'm going to start homeschooling in about a week or so. I enrolled in http://www.jmhs.com and Becky (loveflower... above^) is attempting to get into there as well... but those are for high school courses. There are other courses. I think it's the best thing to do as it's easier for your children. Not only that, but it's easier for you because you know what they're doing and you learn with them as well... I think homeschooling is a great thing. The public schooling system is in the dumps... trust me.

visit the school, sit in on classes, listen to what is taught, go on some field trips, watch the kids on the playground.......it won't take long to want to homeschool. we decided to pull our grandaughter out this year and started homeschooling her, now her attitude is so much better and we also know exactly what she is learning now.
