Hello, I'm new to the forum and I thought this would be the perfect time to tell you about a reccuring dream I used to have when I was younger. Okay so, I used to have the reccuring dream between the ages of 4 and 9. Although the dreams have passed, I've always wondered what the dream meant. Right, I'm in this huge cube shapped hall, bare plain black walls and I feel a sence of discomfort and worry. I search around the floor and find these stones and then look up and see a big huge circle of slots where these special type of stones get placed into. In the middle of this circle is one huge slot for a huge rock. Anyway after collecting and throwing all these stones into the slots, the room begins to rumble. I search around desperately for something I do no know and my stomach begins to drop. Instantly after that white powerful beams begin to shoot through the walls and begin to close in on me. I try and run but wherever I go I get stopped by a beam shooting past my path. Just as I get closed in I wake up. When I awake for this dream I used to find myself in sweat and tears and I mean really crying my eyes out. There was once when I was very young, I woke up to find myself trying to scratch my fathers face. Although the dream passed a while ago, it's always been at the back of my mind and I always think of it from time to time. If anyone on this forum has any ideas why I kept having this dream or any other comments anyone would like to tell me about, I will be very happy. Thanks, MercyJ. :cheers2:
Hi MercyJ, be welcome and thank you for coming here. I believe dreams can have multiple meanings, and also you get up to a dozen different answers depending on whom you ask. Which one is right? Just be aware that you are the one who knows best as this is your dream; the answer is written therein. I thought feeling trapped, and stopped as consequence of your action may be how you felt about your life back then. The dream may have helped you to release tears as well, as waking is part of the dreaming. The stones you throw into the slot are like questions. What is life ? Who am I ? What will happen ? The answer would be "You are your own power" - even if you may not realize it right away. Just a suggestion.
Since your had this dream while young it may mean that you saw the imagery in a movie. As to what it means, because it is a recurring dream, it is a dream of warning, probably way in the future. The cube probably signified feeling boxed in, with no way out - you feel helpless in a situation. I usually advise not to get involved in drugs, alcohol or extra-marital affairs. These will usually lead to deep depression at some point. The white light is a good omen, but as a symbol of assistance or enlightenment you may be fearful because you may not want your secrets found out. Whatever this situation is your logic will probably fail you. Now, if it is a past life remembrance, it could signify how you died. That fear would then be transferred to this life. Since there's nothing you can do about it now, the only thing you can do is to try your best to be good.
