For me it isn't really about fun. It's about necessity. But I guess most people find it fun because it allows them to more readily act upon their inhibitions.
I never knew what was fun about getting drunk. I just knew that's what my friends and I did and we enjoyed ourselves. We could've had fun without it, I'm sure, but that wasn't what we chose. I honestly can't answer your question well, I can tell you the draw to depressants for me is that my mind moves very fast constantly and it's hard to focus at times. I think you can relate to this. Depressants slow me down to a point where I can better make sense of and understand some of the things my mind is trying to process at once. Otherwise it's like a garbled mess up there and it gets tiresome trying to sort my thoughts out, if that makes any sense.
you could try anticonvulsants they all do mental slowing. I ask because right now my new one makes me feel pill drunk. and, really, not fun. but it's not supposed to have MANY side effects so, I mean. gotta give it a full trial, and once my brain adjusts to it, it will get less pill drunkie.
People feel more attractive, they have more confidence, they have more fun because things don't hurt as much. But I think the biggest thing is so they have an excuse. "I slept with him because I was drunk!!!" Because, in this society, that seems to be acceptable
if pain is a reason not to do something you're a pussy (unless it's an excuse, like, if someone says they want to wax my eyebrows I'll use pain as an excuse), but, I mean, if I wanna ride a saddleless bronco (I don't, not because of the pain, but because I don't see the point) it's not the pain that's stopping me.
I like to get buzzed...which is 2 shots of anything for me I laugh a lot more and I can act like myself with confidence. I am a shy person and i could act goofy but people accept it more cause Im drunk and they understand lol
I think alcohol is the best tasting drug to me, and it gives me confidence, and makes me more creative in a lot of ways. I'm more open also. I just hate hang overs, worst come down besides coke.
now THERES a winner! Im more romantic and open to people and I listen better, like everything I suck at sober, Im better buzzed or drunk...well not everything
I've only been drunk twice...I'm a happy drunk ,the kind that never shuts up I never understood why someone would want to be drunk often
Drinking problems maybe? Ive been drunk every time I drink cause it gets to me easily. I need to get fat
Thats part of why I dont drink...Im too cheap and I need so much to get drunk because of my size:hat:
Was this to me? I meant emotional pain. My old friend used to get drunk all the time just not to feel upset (went round in a cycle 'til the habit was broken, if any of y'all wanna know).
well enjoy it cause being a light weight really sucks at times because you're still mentally there and can remember unless I take about 4 more shots, anyways you wanna talk and chill with people but you really cant cause you need help with walking and i just laugh at everything. So you really cant keep partying with people. it def slows you down
I don't get drunk very often, precisely because I don't see the point. Expensive, unhealthy, makes you feel like shit the next day, and tends to ruin a good night. I don't mind getting a buzz on, but getting full-on drunk is never worthwhile.
well this is the best reason to get someone else drunk anyway, even if it doesn't answer the original question...
