I've heard that anti depression tablets have the ability to give someone the ability to hold back orgasms or generally last longer, i know this is true from stories I've read.

My question is what are brands and names of anti-deps i can buy from a pharmacy or health food place. I'm looking for something over the counter because i don't wanna see my GP.

If someone could message me with name of something they have used or no about that has given results or just post it below. Also i asked today at my local health food about 5 htp someone had recomended and they said that it is not stocked in victoria. thanks in advance

I read tryptophan can have these sorts of affects, anyone tried this? And is it over the counter, also doesn't just have to be anti-dep any over the counter medicine that has these affects.

So, I was on 2 different kinds of them. I was taking them because I generally do not sleep well. Anyway, both took most of the feeling away. I could not reach orgasm. AT ALL!! It totally sucked. Then I started to not be able to keep a hard on because of the lack of sensation. I completely stopped taking them. For me, however, I had that option since I am not depressed. My sex life has not gotten back to normal yet (it has only been a week), but it is getting better.

My experience is that Zoloft® keeps you from reaching orgasm without a little extra effort. Yea, I REALLY have to work for it.

Sadly, it IS prescription. I've heard people tell me similar things about St. John's Wart, however.

I might offer this warning and/or disclaimer, however: it seems that each one of these antidepressants has a SIGNIFICANTLY different effect on each individual. I had to try a couple others before I found one that worked for me (did what it was supposed to with acceptable side-effects). Prozac WIRED me right before bed.
