No it doesn't. I think that unless the fetus's or mother's health could be compromised, adoption is the way to go in an unwanted pregnancy. I'm glad that I was smart enough to know that I couldn't raise a healthy, well-adjusted child when I was 17 and glad that I could be strong enough to let my first-born be adopted by 2 parents who desperately wanted a child.

 

My mother was 15 when she got pregnant with me and 16 when she had me. I'm not sure the job she did when I was pre 5 years old but I can attest that she did an amazing job from 5 years old on. I am a very well adjusted succesful 37 year old. My mother is my rock. I am very grateful she wasnt of the mindset to vaccum me out and throw me away.

 

I'm bringing it back. I have not not mentioned it in one abortion debate, since I've heard it.

I like that miscarriage one too, but it just doesn't have that ring to it =P

 

But the entire orphanage/adoption system is completely underfunded, overcrowded, and a mess in general to begin with.

 

I have met people that have been brought up in orphanages, because the adoption system is so overcrowded - that talked about how evil it was and how horrible their lives were before they got out, and they had absolute horror stories.
Once a girl that used to post here, that was one such person, posted in a thread talking about adoption over abortion and she said her whole childhood, she wished she would've been aborted.

 

For one if you are using abortion as a birth control you really can't call it birth control. Most forms of birth control try to prevent conception, thats not what you are doing if you are having multiple abortions. Plus having multiply abortions could result in some damage mental on the women recieving them. I've always heard that women feel a tremendous amount of guilt when having an abortion, so just imagine having more then one. There is most likely some damage to the reproductive organs, so if the women chooses to have a child later on it could be more difficult to do so.

I'm not really in support of doing this for myself, but if another women wants to do it who is gonna stop her. It all comes down to personal choice. I won't do it, but someone else can. I don't agree with it, but I have no right to stop someone from doing it themselves.

I don't believe there is anything wrong with using it as birth control if the woman is fully aware of her choices and options. It is her choice, to say it's okay sometimes and murder another is a faulty argument. It's either all okay, or it's all wrong. And I say it's all okay.

 

So we cant value life unless we attach some mystical diety to it and call it creation by God?

 

If you're in too poor a health to take care of a child, I'm almost positive you're not going to be having sex anyway. Therefore, no chance at getting pregnant.

And, drugs aren't an excuse either. Just because some skeezy ass crackwhore was out on the streets spreading her legs to score a quick fix does not justify an abortion. Her baby maker should be cut out.

And, if you're not financially well off enough to risk a child....BIRTH CONTROL IS FREE for those not well off enough to pay for it, so is abstinence.


Any excuse it takes to make the person feel better, though....I guess.

When I was living in Miami a judge got some serious shit from banning a crack whore to have kids after pumping 8 of them in a row into the legal system. Wish I knew more, but at the same time there was alot of serious shit in Miami going on that never made news past there.

Did he also order her ovaries to be cut out and make her wear them as a necklace or something? She should be banned from any kind of baby making period.

Drug problems are a biggie. Either the baby will become a miscarriage or a lost cause if she does have it. I agree with the judge, crystal was saying...give the druggie a choice...get clean or tie the tubes

Financially is what gets me the most. Everyone knows bc and condoms are free. duh. but surprisely there are a lot of women who are on bc and get pregnant and then what? abortions are outragous and if its too late for plan b...you're shit out of luck. but people who CAN afford abortions, they should get it if they are not financially ready..an abortion is 2 grand...having a child for the rest of your life is 10 grand and up...if you think realisticly

Honey, I have better things to do than start an argument with you. So, please, take your ego boost elsewhere.
And, if your ovaries are messed up, there isn't really a great chance you'll get pregnant. And, when that particular person does....they USUALLY want to keep the baby. And, if they want to diminish that SMALL chance, then they need to be on birth control....not have an abortion when they have an 'oopsie'.
And, I still maintain that a skeezy ass drug whore should have her baby maker ripped out....and banned from having an abortion. They should just get all them skanks in one area and drop a bomb on them.
And, I was one of those women that got pregnant on birth control....you didn't see me in an abortion clinic. And, the piss poor excuse 'I can't afford a baby right now' but you go out and blow your money on a new car, a new house, and drop 2 grand like it's nothing on 'getting rid of' the baby you spread your legs to make....then maybe they need a financial advisor.
And, I'd like to meet a baby that costs as little as 10 grand a year. Diapers, clothes, food, bottles, shoes, under garments, car seats, etc....10 grand? Psh

third...you mightve kept your precious little kid but i didnt. you know why? because i knew i wasnt in the position for a child. the way this world is going, kids arent on my mind. I was on the pill also..i was pissed about it..I didnt want to, but i did it anyways and now I dont regret it. and I want to keep a kid with a guy that loves and supports me during it. I was gonna be left alone if i kept it. No way would I go through my life being a single, sad mom. it sounds selfish but i want to live my life partly how i want it. the right way.
