not all propaganda is bad, and i'm not claiming it is. but i am interested, for the purposes of this thread, in propaganda which has no qualms with what it is, no attempt to embed some subliminal message....just pure, unashamed propaganda. for instance, i love donald duck cartoons. over christmas my mom and dad got me a collection of WWII era donald duck cartoons on DVD. in a special, seperate section of the DVD set is a collection of war-specific propaganda cartoons. some are shocking in their xenophobia, but despite this for what they are they are interesting and well made. for instance, i don't defend the depiction of the japanese in some of these, but hell, it was the 40s, and war time. regardless, here is my example of propaganda. it is on the DVD set and just happens to be on youtube in full. please add to this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjYI2QB3moM
Maybe not propaganda, depending one's P.O.V., but "Hemp For Victory" is great. A pro-cannabis, pro-war film made by the government. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ne9UF-pFhJY
how could there be any question about it being propaganda? point of view is irrelevant, as is factuality, when determining whether or not something is propaganda
