Hey, are there any tips to have half grow faster or fuller? I cut it last month; the front and bangs are a little long-ish, to nearly eyes, but the sides and back are short short. How long will my hair take to become shoulder length or at least long enough for a good looking ponytail?

It takes some time, but it's worth it

I last got my hair cut about 13 months ago and at that time it was very, very short on the sides and back and about 1" long on the top. My bangs are now down to just around my chin and the back is about 2" below the top of my shoulders.

It took me about 4 1/2 years the last time my hair was that short to get my hair to the lower-middle of my back and my bangs to reach the middle of my chest. I wish I never cut it all off last spring, lol. I'm going for at least 5-7 years this time before I even get a trim. I don't know of any way to get it to grow faster, but some people's hair grow faster or slower than others do. BTW I very rarely get split ends so I do not need trims to get rid of them.

I'd say around a year and a half. Let it grow and see a stylist every once in a while.

I cut off 16 inches of my hair almost two years ago, and it's very long again. I don't get it cut professionally very often, but I trim the ends myself. It's important to keep up with your split ends. Don't use heat on it, and only wash/condition it every couple of days, or even every three days (that's what I do).

it depends on the person, some peoples hair just grows faster than others. The better you take care of it, the faster it will grow. You have to trim it every so often to keep the split ends out. Even though it costs twice as much, professional hair care products will keep it stronger and healthier, where as conditioners such as pantene or suave actually coat you hair, starving it of the nutrients it should absorb. Hydrated hair is happy hair, drinking plenty of water will help the strength and length as well. Depending on you hair color, you can use apple cider vinegar after your shampoo and before you condition to help clean your scalp and stimulate hair follicles. If you are blond, apple cider vinegar will stain your hair, use distilled white vinegar instead.

    Really? That works?

As for shampoo/conditioner, I use Aveeno 'cause I got a free sample, and loved what it did even though it's more expensive. It's worth it to pay a little more for shampoo, not get my hair professionally styled, and only use the shampoo and conditioner every few days.

I have million uses for vinegar. It is a natural astringent. I even make all natural eye drops from it.

Is washing and conditioning everyday really bad? My hair gets pretty greasy if I don't.

Put some fertilizer in your hair. I hear it makes things grow faster and better.
