i ripped my foot open on a mirror, it bleed for two weeks i could hardly walk...
but i've broken my wrist a good five times... i have arthritis now but i don't take anything for it
i also have to ripped muscles in my back, that hurts really bad.
but i think more intense things could happen.

I've never taken an opiate myself, I have been under, presumably using opiates.

I had my tonsils and adenoids removed, and used no painkillers through my recovery (when I was fifteen, it's worse as you age)

sprained my ankle twice, twisted my knee, had a pig bite a hole in my hand missed everything of any importance (thank god)

have fallen down stairs, seizure injuries, which are too innumerable to account. two concussions.

I dunno, my memory for injuries and other medical stuff is kinda shit, because I mean, the way I deal with it, is just blending it all together into one thick paste of meaninglessness.

had a broken fencing foil go halfway into my thigh. dunno what else. don't use painkillers.

well, haven't in the past, feel I will in the future, the reasons I didn't in the past won't be valid much longer.

OOH! raz reminded me, I stepped on a nail

had to get a tetanus shot, wanted to kill my sister, she left a board with a nail through it in the house. IN THE HOUSE where I am supposed to be safe barefoot.

My new brother in law is such a fucking sissy, he gets ingrown toenails and he gets all teary eyed fixing them

just get a pair of pliers, some cuticle scissors, and rip out the bad parts

(this really is how I do it. actually, I don't always have cuticle scissors, sometimes it's wire snips, which, as you know, much more manly)

like coral growing through your skull.
the first one I was jumping off the bunk bed playing paratrooper.

the second one I fell face first (seizure) into a barbell. had a waffle pattern on my forehead for a couple weeks from the grips. I don't remember the concussion itself that time. I don't even remember telling the er staff about how prokofiev got a raw deal dying the same week as stalin.

in tense situations, my adrenaline usually makes the pain not noticeable till afterwards

worst pain i've ever felt was from a fractured arm when i was in 4th grade

i was kinda a baby about pain when i was a kid...but anymore, i'd say i take it fairly well

I am eventually going to get those because of my seizure meds

a nephrologist once told me that is the worst pain you can possibly experience.

fuck that. I took shrapnel to my face and arm in a training accident and never felt a thing besides the stitches... as far as pain is concerned. I definitely felt the morphine drip though :p.

it's not, because the pain still goes through nervous system arcs, there are a lot of kinds of neurologically induced pain (I thank god I haven't experienced ANY of it) that is worse by it's very nature.

    that shit is just cheating.

i know man. i almost bled. it was scary.

dunno. if a nephrologist says it's the worst possible, i'd say it's pretty high up there. but i still gander having your balls dipped in acid would hurt more.

it's the way the wiring is, I'm sure it is terrible, but your nervous system filters for you

there are some neurological disorders, and if you can track down one of the poor fucks suffering from one of them, who has also had kidney stones, I guarantee you the stones aren't as bad as the neurological pain, simply because the way it works.

there is only so much pain you can actually feel. it's a defense mechanism, it's a good thing. your brain going terribly wrong however, and inventing pain.

    can be worse.
