When I was four I had these bathtub soap/crayons I could paint on the walls of the bathtub during bathtime.

Well one day, I decided to see what they tasted like. Green was my color back then, before I really started liking blue. Now I'm a silver and blue guy.

So I went right at the green crayon. Later when I threw up, it was this impressive bright green.

And that's what the new hip forums remind me of.

    Haha.
I used to eat rocks with Alaina.
We would go down to Potosi at my Grandpa's and he lives on a gravel road and we would find a rock we likeds and try to eat it. Really, we just ended up sucking on them and spitting them out and finding new ones. Haha.

Ate a blue crayon on my first day of kindergarten.
I got hungry, and thought that blue would taste good...
    It didn't.

You know actually, I remember the soap wasn't too bad.

Also tried cat food, which was surprisingly sweet. Like terrible sweet cornmeal with some fish flavor.

It still beat what they served us in elementary school

dude, what didn't i eat? paint, house plants, used to share my golden retriever's bowl of kibble....feed a piece to missy, eat a piece myself, feed a piece to missy, eat a piece myself.....once at a whole bar of dove....

my earliest memory is having a plastic tube shoved down my throat to get my stomach pumped when i was two years old. my parents put me in a crib and "took a nap" in the afternoon. i managed to get out of my crib, down a flight of hardwood stairs, climb up on a hutch, open a "childproof" bottle of pills, and down a 10-day supply of muscle relaxants. i grew up hearing the story that it was skelaxin. could of swore that. but now my mom says it was antispas that i ate. i just looked up antispas, actually, and it doesnt sound like a normal muscle relaxant, though. it contains a combination of barbiturates and alkaloids like atropine and scopolamine which come from belladonna  (also found in things like datura, jimson weed)

anyway, i was essentially on my deathbed. the hospital called in a priest without consulting my parents (catholic hospital) to prepare my soul for death or whatever

anyway, i ate all kinds of things i shouldnt as an infant and a toddler

You know those packets of silicate preservative in school?

I was dared to eat one. I knew it was dangerous, but I liked being the center of attention, so I cut it opened, held my fingers over the tip of the container, and put it in my mouth to look like I was swallowing it. The kids told the teacher.

Later I got taken to the nurse who didn't believe me till I demanded a sugar packet and showed her how I fooled the other kids.

Then I got scolded for the adults being chumps. What a world!

I ate chalk for years. It wasn't some one night stand, this was a serious love affair. Not just any chalk though, chalkboard chalk was no good - had to be sidewalk chalk. pink sidewalk chalk - ohhh yeah. I think I was deprived of minerals as a child.
