anywhere on the eel river. richardson grove is one of my favorite places. the shata trinity alps are beautiful also. gotta watch out for bears. i didn't see any, but there are signs posted everywhere.
hey booga! I also thing richardson grove kicks ass, actually there is a campground right next to there I go to a lot that rents cabins for dirt cheap, but I should keep that a secret so everyone doesn't go rushing there..... Be well, R
ahahah yes. i used to go there every summer when i was a kid. i don't think i've been there in 14 years! maybe next summer i can go. maybe we'll run into each other.
there was this beach north of arcata bout 10 or 15 miles, that you could camp at for free for a month. and cougar hotsprings in oregon, not sure if ya can still go there or not, nelsons ledges in ohio was great for a swim and a show, allegheny national park for the hardwoods and the hills. cant camp where im at now, or youll get chomped by the gators.
