first of all, the color is now green


i joined up at rapmusic.com. specifically the text rap battles. i hardly like rap but im very confident that ill be come a champion. it's a pretty active league and the competition is pretty unimpressive. im excited to show case my shit...i found a place to do it finally.

i have to submit some of my stuff before i can sign up for week 61. you need 150 post as a minimum, but if you can show that you can contend you can be wavered in.

 

I haven't text battle in years. I used to troll chat rooms back in high school looking for someone to battle. I was trying to hone my freestyle skills. i ended up giving up freestyle all together, just not very good at it.

 

Me and my friends would freestyle all the time.
Sometimes me and my buddy do some text freestyling, but it just isnt the same.
Freestyling with some good friends is always fun.

 

Go to the chat room and freestyle there...?

 

I would close my eyes, pick a chat room go in and start rapping. It would usually be about whatever chat room I was in for example if I was in a Goth chat room I'd freestyle about dark shit if I was in a sex chat room I'd freestyle about sex.

 

Well- I expect that if you went into hipchat doing that might get you kicked or banned... I was thinking of setting up a separate room off the main chat for you.

 

It's good bro. I haven't done that since I was 17. I feel much more comfortable in the booth or on a stage.

 

this is not really on the spot stuff. they you a week to prepare a assault vs your oppent...ample time. too much time.

 

Do you know your opponent, their background and how they rap before hand? A week to dig up shit on you opponent, fuck, you can roast his ass something vicious!

 

Haha, when I was a kid, I thought I was some crazy ass rapper because we had some stupid drug free week at school and I wrote the winning rap against drugs, and I also got understudy for one of the "raps" in our musical. Lmao...how ridiculous. A bunch of white kids rapping...
