Also, I have seen Ocala plagued with almost too many kitchens. How many were there last year...4 or 5? Shut Up &c, Kid Village, that NERF kitchen off to the side, the Jesus folks, Oz, am I forgetting somebody? That was enough to keep everybody fed and offer plenty of variety. But, yeah, I'm considering focalizing, or at least vocalizing about, some sort of coffee house hang out for those of us who have met online, and would like to meet FTF. And I have been telling everybody since California that I am on sabatical from FG and Parking, as this July 3rd was the 10th anniversary of my first Front Gate, so I had darned well better find myself another job before I get there, so that I don't land in Florida and find myself recruited into my old one.

Well after so much moving around a bunch of us ended up in Ocala.. and we have this small Cafe going on.. called Penny Lane. there is also "your kitchen" which is ran by Agro Dave and his ol lady.. there are ago 30 people in the woods now.. buck lake.. in the pines the LEO's were giving people shit this past weekends Lake Mary and a few other sites are day use only.. and most of everywhere else is under water. Well that's whats going on.. hope to see some of you out there=)

A walk from Ocala to the National. The east coast in late winter early spring...can it work? Have you worked this out? Will it be warm enough? It sounds inspiring. I'll add it to my long list of possible plans. My partner and I are thinking of doing the walking thing for a bit. We were considering the Pacific Crest trail. Hmm, depends who goes really. If it's a large group of people, we'd need to be more than just panhandlers and dumpster divers. A theatre troupe maybe...

Oh yeah, so this thread was about kitchens.
I just quit caffeine (again). What about a tea kitchen? I'm getting really tired of the coffee thing. For a joke I should have a coffee kitchen with a TV and prozac and Pepsi all the white sugar you could eat. But it'd probably be popular, even at rainbow. Ironic.

all i know is that it's damn hard when you really need that caffeine buzz at dawn minus two to find coffee in rainbowland! anyone that wants to set up a coffee kitchen has my complete support, and i'll be happy to pitch in. tea time was there last year too, weren't they? phat bastards is usually in bus village and has "fix it your own damn self" coffee available. i'm all about it.
