Yea but at least it differs from song to song lol

I cant stand those 5 power chords after 2 or 3 songs, they grate on my eardrums

They use the 12 bar blues chords. It's going to sound the same.

That's the point. It's like a metal band using a double kick pedal, it's just expected.

Have fun sucking that cock, boy.

I never said anything about genre, so I don't know what you're talking about with your "rap sucks" act. Honestly though, I have to say that the majority of rap (good rap, not that radio garbage) has a lot more meaning through the words specifically than a lot of [post-classical] rock songs.

A lot of today's rock is just a huge metaphor and doesn't really address any meaning other than feeling like crap - whereas a lot of rap speaks out about real-life issues.

I know that's a huge generalization, but that's just how I feel about rock groups such as Metallica. They are all an act.

It really depends on what you mean by high. Almost imidiately after smoking a joint your muscles start to relax. For me it starts out so subtle I couldn't really pinpoint it, but its normally about ten minutes after a joint when I'm at optimum stonege.

you don't even know what your talking about man lol.

Metallica did not start out as an act, they were just young kids playing thrash. They did turn into one I agree. But if you haven't noticed I don't fucking like the new "act" metallica.

Jesus christ you don't even know how to insult my musical fuckin' taste. At least make fun of a band when they were in the peak of their career.

And I don't care about new rock, or rap. It's all shit.

Your makin' me type durin' my buzz man.

Rock in general seems to have the whole "act" deal goin on.
A lot of it just seems to be a bunch of white kids (or grown men in some cases) with no way to release their anger. Typically that is why I listen to a lot of rock when I am heated, the lyrics never make sense, but it doesn't matter cause I'm mad lol

For real though, even one of my favorites, Rage Against the Machine...they are an act. "Pistol Grip Pump"? Yeah, I highly doubt that half of their lyrics about firearms comes from any political uprising they have taken part in...

Holy fuck man... You shouldn't talk when you don't know what your talkin about lol.

Metallica are like two different bands, the Metallica of today and then theres

MetallicA. They were a sick band. Trust me man, you just gotta be into metal to really understand it... They were something else, you don't know the same MetallicA I do.

I don't even know who the hell weezy is though... so he can't be that big in that genre, whatever the hell it is.

Almost everyone knows who and what Metallica are.
