Hari Om! Bill came up with the wonderful idea of starting a thread of photos of great masters, so here goes. My first posting, of my Guru, Swami Chinmayananda.
Yes BBB you are correct..... as expected. Who is the man to the left of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ? I am sure BBB knows.. So BBB you can't answer this but anyone else can try...
Hare Krishna ! From half-a-hippie...... Yes BBB you are correct..... as expected. Who is the man to the left of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ? I am sure BBB knows.. So BBB you can't answer this but anyone else can try... __________________ I am not sure, is that Dr. Deepak Chopra in his younger days ? One of his mentors was Sri Mahesh Yogi. Love, Kumar.
Hare Krishna ! From BBB.... A Great Soul from the west. ...................... I am not sure, is he the great 18th. century German philosopher Immanuel Kant ? Love, Kumar.
Wrong I'm afraid! It's William Blake, 18th C. English engraver, poet, painter, visionary, prophet. Probably one of the greatest people england ever produced -yet he died peniless, although happy.
Hare Krishna! Thanks to both half-a-hippie and BBB. I find, I made series of mistakes. I found a lot of resemblance in both the cases and came to my answers. Thanks again. Love, Kumar.
Arguably the greatest - but either way, great composer or artist doesn't necessarily = great soul. Shakespeare for instance, was in my mind the greatest writer, but I wouldn't accord him mahatma status.
I know it's not the same, but I still wanted to show this picture: It's me next to swami Anil Dave. Swami-ji is a catholic priest running an ashram in Varanasi where he really uses the indian culture in a beautifull expression of faith.
Swami Anil Dave .. Interesting.. Does he have a website ? Searched on the net couldn't find any information..
